Smart Smoke Sensor
150,00 €
The battery-powered photoelectric smoke sensor is designed to protect you and your boat from the dangers of smoke and fire. Optimised for detecting slow smoldering fires which generate light smoke, little heat and may smolder for hours before bursting into flames.
In addition to detecting smoke this sensor also monitors daily average temperature and humidity values.
In case of a smoke incident, the smoke sensor will generate a beeping signal and notify the Sense4Boaat control center. The alerts will be forwared to you via a notification on your smartphone, email and phone call. Your home marina can be instantly informed as well.

Smart Smoke Sensor at a glance
TESTED FROM -10ºC TO + 65ºC
Designed to withstand the conditions found in boat cabins. Resistant to high humidity. Equipped with the test button and a sound alarm.
DAILY HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS
Besides the main function of smoke detection, this sensor will report the average humidity and temperature values of your boat cabin.
NO SIM-CARD REQUIRED
The locator communicates directly to the Sense4Boat control center through a specialised Sigfox IoT network. No SIM car or additional network costs are required.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Having its own replaceable batteries, this device does not use the boat’s power. Low energy consumption means you will need to replace the battery only every 5 to 7 years.

Detect a potential fire on time
Prevention of fire on a boat stored/docked in the marina is a very demanding challenge. The fire is usually spotted at a very late stage, at which it already had developed high temperatures and even spread to the adjacent boats. Smoke is one of the first signs of fire, but it can be hard to spot it from the outside.
The number of electrical appliances on our boats, grows every year and it is hard to keep track of everything that is turned on or plugged in. We also still use gas in the galley which combined with a distracted crew can be a hazard.

Prevent mold and freezing
Very often the boats are exposed to extreme cold as well, which might lead to freezing of the fluids and possible damage of the pipes, valves or tanks.Â
High humidity in cabins can create conditions for development of mold and can cause damage to the cabin and the items you keep in your boat
This sensor warns you if the average humidity levels become to high, or the average temperature becomes to low, so that you can manage these situations.
Monitor the boat cabins’ temperature & humidity and get smoke alarms with the Sense4Boat app
Set emergency contacts which will be automatically contacted in case of potential danger.
Define alarm parameters to suit your specific needs, which can be different based on the boat’s type, geographical location of the marina and actual placement of the sensor.
