Sense4boat is now available in San Diego, CA
Sense4Boat’s USA partner Lokket, Inc., a San Diego based provider of Ultra Fast Internet and Enhanced Security Solutions, now offers Sense4Boat sensors and services to all boaters in the San Diego harbor.
Weather your boat is in one of the slips of the San Diego marinas or tied to a buoy in the San Diego harbour, you can now add Sense4Boat sensors to your boat to reduce the risk of water damage or sinking, remotely monitor your boat’s batteries and high temperatures in the engine room.
If you are in one of many San Diego marinas, you can connect to your marina so that in case of any alerts both you and the Marina staff receive information about a possible incident on your boat, making sure your boat is checked sooner and possible damage averted.

This sensor continuously monitors the voltage and temperature of the boat’s batteries. Whenever the battery voltage changes a message with the latest measurement is sent to the Sense4Boat control center and compared to configurable treshold for diverse alerting conditions.
Reduce risk of fire and freezing in the engine room

Fire is usually spotted at a very late stage, at which it already had developed high temperatures and spread to the adjacent boats. This sensor, resistant to high temperatures often found in engine rooms, continuously monitors the smallest changes in the temperature and notifies you ina case of any sudden temperature change.

USA marinas which are certified Sense4Boat partners
All marinas in the San Diego harbor who have an emergency number and an email address are compatible with Sense4Boat. Boaters using the Sense4Boat system can connect to their marina by chosing it from the list of our Partner Marinas, or simply by adding the phone and email of any marina not yet in our Certified Partner program.
From that moment on, in addition to the boat owner, the marina will also be notified in case of water ingress, detection of smoke or dangerously high temperature on the boat. Marinas who are our Certified Partners, in addition to making it easier to their clients to share the safety data about their boats, have built in verified processes about what to do in case of any relevant alert comes from a boat equipped with Sense4Boat sensors.
